ASEM Global Ageing Center (AGAC) has expanded its international cooperation activities and its network in the area of the human rights of older persons since its opening in 2018. Building on its increased status and experience in the global realm, AGAC has launched the AGAC Global Advisory Group. The AGAC Global Advisory Group has five members, representing Europe, Asia and North America, as well as academia, civil society, think-tanks, and medical professions. AGAC Global Advisory Group members will meet regularly to share recent trends on research and discussions related to the human rights of older persons. They will greatly contribute to widening and deepening the contents of AGAC’s various activities, including research, publications and general advocacy for the enhancement of the rights of older persons.
