The ASEM Global Ageing Center introduces key statistics on older persons released in Korea. “Household Population Projection of Korea” predicts the average size and overall demographic characteristics of nationwide households based on the recent population trends in Korea. Contents are based on “Household Population Projection: 2020-2050”, released on June 27, 2022, by Statistics Korea  (Link). Statistics Korea releases “Household Population Projection” every 5 years.
