The ASEM Global Ageing Center (AGAC) is pleased to announce the release of the official Korean translation of the "Bangkok Recommendation 2026" Policy Brief.

This outcome document synthesizes key insights, guiding principles, and strategic priority actions established during the International Conference and Workshops on Community-led Approaches and Innovations for Better Care Systems and Community Resilience Toward an Inclusive Silver Economy, held in Bangkok, Thailand, in May 2026.

This policy brief adopted insights from over 200 experts across 15 countries, serving as a comprehensive framework dedicated to advancing an inclusive silver economy and community-led care transformation. The document outlines 10 guiding principles and 4 primary action themes aimed at building sustainable, community-led care systems and strengthening social resilience for an aging population.

We hope this translated publication serves as a valuable resource for Korean policymakers, researchers, and civil society leaders working toward age-friendly societies. AGAC remains dedicated to bridging global policy insights with local actions in order to promote the human rights of older persons.
